Adding Experience
The Monaghan Pipe Band is pleased to announce that Jimmy Bell, former Pipe Major of the Parlin and District Pipe Band, and Jimmy Hagan, former Pipe Major of the Northcoast Pipe Band, will be competing with the band this summer.

New Members
The Monaghan Pipe Band is happy to welcome pipers Bill Duffy and Scott Gajdos and snare drummer Mark Fields aboard for 2002.

Opening Act
Under the direction of Pipe Major Roddy MacLeod and Drum Sergeant John Scullion, the grade 1 Scottish Power Pipe Band will perform a benefit concert for the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children's Fund on Thursday, April 4, 2002. The Monaghan Pipe Band is pleased to announce that it will be opening for such a great band and for so worthy a cause.
